ONE
Last Saturday I had the opportunity to attend a Women's Even at our church, Watermark Community Church. I have never gone to a women's event before, and can we talk about how "old" it made me feel! I remember growing up and hearing about these events, or my mom going to them and thinking I'm never gonna be old enough to go to these, well guess what friends…the time is here! I met some of my community group (bible study) girls there, and my amazing momma came too! To say the night was amazing would be an understatement. The speaker was a lady who does my women's bible study on Wednesday morning, and as always she did not disappoint! The whole evening was about "recharging" after the holidays and that is exactly how I felt afterwards! There were so many amazing points that I could go on for days but a line that really stuck with me was "we work so hard for things that God freely gives us." To me that just means that I am already good enough, God already loves me no matter what, I can stop trying to "impress him" (or those around me for that matter) and just do what I am called to do! With this new SAHM gig that was great to hear, luckily I have not really had the issue of comparing my self to other mommas or my little bit to other babies but I have had hard time with "am I doing enough?" This was a great reminder that yes I am! I may not be teaching kiddos to read anymore or how to add/subtract, or being that constant in their lives when they have no one else but I am investing in my sweet girls life and beginning her foundation! At the end of the night we listened to the new Carrie Underwood song, Something In the Water, sung by a lady in our church. Oh my goodness! It was amazing! So friends just remember God takes us how we are and loves us already, its not about us…its about him!
TWO
Yesterday the hubby took off work to hangout with us before he jumps back into hie SECOND TO LAST semester of school! Sidenote: we are less than a year away from being done! Woohoo! We live super close to a gorgeous lake and walking trail right in the heart of Dallas, but very rarely take advantage! Since the sun finally decided to come out and the temps were a little warmer we took little bit and headed to the lake! We ended up walking for about two hours and it was amazing! It was so nice to just walk and talk with the hubs with no distractions..minus the ducks! Speaking of ducks there were a million of them in a tree that we were walking under and they POOPED on us!! It was disgusting..but from what I hear it is good luck…

When little bit was in the NICU the very first full day that she was there, Will and I, needed a break from doctors, monitors, big terms and unknown so we headed to walk around the hospital and found the gift shop. I found this sweet little pink seersucker elephant made by Mudpie that I knew Weslee Grace needed. At about 3 months old she decided she was quite fond of this elephant (as was momma but more for sentimental reasons..) and we have always taken it everywhere! Well last week we were out shopping and got to the car and I realized we had lost Ellee. We headed back into the store and looked everywhere, I asked the security guard if he had seen it (he just gave me a blank stare) and we had no luck in finding her! I searched the internet, my dad went back to the gift shop to see if they still had them, I had my MIL looking for one and no one could find one! I called my SIL in Oklahoma and told her I thought I had seen one in a boutique there when we were visiting! Lucky for us we have the most amazing SIL/Aunt and she found us a new Ellee!! We are so blessed that she goes along with our craziness and got out her 3 month old baby in the cold weather and got us an Ellee and mailed it to us! We are so happy to have a new Ellee (Ellee squared may be her new name)!
FOUR
Speaking of little bit..she is at the most fun age!!! She is crawling everywhere, walking around furniture, and is not afraid of anything! She is my little climber and is very adventurous! We have had so much fun lately! Her personality is really shining through and I could just eat her up!
Girlfriend LOVES being upside down!
(such ashamed her personality is so small..)
FIVE
I have mentioned on my Instagram account (@mrsjustibuck) the most amazing little etsy shop called, MargauxMakes (@margauxmakes) but I wanted to talk about them on here! I had ordered these letters below, and the whole alphabet about a month before Christmas to put in little bits stocking! Well the tracking said they were delivered but I never got them and the post office was less than helpful! The sweet sweet owner of the shop mailed me "weslee Grace" when she heard the post office was not going to help me, she did this all on her own! I was just in shock and included the sweetest little note as well! Weslee loves them (especially the "W") they are perfect for little ones and big ones! I know we are going to be using these for a long time and I plan to place another order very shortly! They would make a perfect present for a baby shower as well! Go check her out!!
We particularly like to put them in our cart to push around..
