Weekend Review

We had a great weekend with sunshine and crazy storms! We started our weekend off by strolling outside Thursday night before the storms were predicted to hit Friday!

This girl kills me. She was strolling along and all of the sudden baby got kicked out of the cart, not quite sure what she did to deserve it! Luckily she made a u-turn and was quickly rescued..only to be thrown out again a little later! 

Waving to her fan club....aka all the neighbors..yard workers..maintanence workers..really anyone that will acknowledge that she is there! We don't have a shy bone in our body!

Friday we had a fun visit with our favorite Capt' and Angus girl! 

 Saturday was a gorgeous day outside and we packed it to the rim with fun stuff! We started our day with breakfast at our favorite diner before Will headed to Arlington for the day to study for finals and work on projects!

Then we headed home to get our day started with our favorite puppy in tow! 

She is going in for a kiss in the picture! 

 Learning to play fetch with Angus...this went on and on and on! We have officially mastered throwing things!

 We then headed to target just for blackberries....but came home with the best little pink chair around!

After a quick stop we were off to feed our ducks at the pond...though when we got there someone else decided she was more hungry than the ducks and proceeded to eat all of our bread that we brought for the ducks!

What do you mean we were going to give this bread to the ducks??

 

Then we enjoyed our first bottle in our new chair...with baby of course! 

Sunday we had cinnamon rolls with daddy and then sent him off to study again! Girls day round 2! 

 Our first stop was Pottery Barn to check our WG's first birthday present..which we ended up purchasing and now I have to figure out away to keep it in the box for another month! She LOVES grocery shopping and walking around with her other cart so I know this was going to be a hit...plus we had a hard time leaving it at the store too so I know she is going to love it! ;) 

When we got home my parents called and asked us to come pick up Angus if we could..of course we jumped at the opportunity! Keeping Angus is one of our favorite things! 

Angus is used to riding in the passenger seat so she was a little less than thrilled to be in the back with Weslee Grace...plus we are still working on their relationship :) 

We got home and everyone needed a snack after that car ride so we headed outside!

Daddy came home to study since the storms were rolling in so we squeezed in sometime with him before bed! This girl thinks her daddy is King of the world... and I would have to agree with her! 

Our Weekend

We had the best weekend…it really started on Thursday when we went to school to celebrate with our favorite KT for her birthday! I had a doctors appointment and she had a meeting on her actually birthday, Friday, so we decided to celebrate early! We brought her lunch and took over her office! We love our KT more than anything and always have so much fun together!! She is one of a kind!

Saturday we got to spend the WHOLE day with Will!! That is so rare these days it was such a treat! We decided to head to the land early with my parents to see if one of the horses had their baby! Sure enough Friday night she did! I have never seen a horse so young, it was really neat! The horses technically belongs to my dad's cousin but they live on our land! He also told us that he was going to give the colt to Weslee Grace! The colt is a boy…so now we must think of a name for him! 

Leave me some name suggestions!  I think it will be so neat to see the colt grow up with WG and hopefully she will be able to ride him one day!

When we got back to Dallas we headed to watch the Dallas Harlequins Rugby game!! It was so fun seeing all our friends from when Will played that we don't get to see much anymore! This momma didn't even think about sunscreen so we had to improvise with a large t-shirt to keep little bit all covered up! She was less than thrilled to cover up her cute outfit ;)

Sunday was pretty low key. Will had to study all day so it was just me and my girl! We ran to carters to get some new summer pjs and played outside! It was such a gorgeous day and I love spending the days with my best girl! We ended our day with taking little bits favorite cart outside to let her walk around…not sure why we haven't done this before because she LOVED it! Her two favorite things are being outside and pushing her little cart so with these two things combined she was in heaven!
