Our weekend

This weekend was for sure one for the books! Our fun started on Friday when we got to spend the day with one of our favorite momma and baby friends, Ashley and Adalyn! The girls had a blast together and us mommas had a great time catching up! The girls are about 2 1/2 months apart so it is great for Weslee to watch Adalyn! I'm hoping that she took great notes on Adalyn's crawling skills..we are so stinking close to crawling all over the place (yes I am well aware that I will immediately regret this..) Ashley calls Addy's pacifer her "sassy" and I loved it! She says its her sassy because she needs it when she is being sassy! I may or may not have started calling Weslee's pacifer her sassy!

(That cheesy grin and arm around sweet addy kills me!!)
Addy feels about the same way I do when Weslee does her cheesy grin!

Poor Addy was such a good sport as Weslee Grace explored her face…

That evening my brother, sister-in-law, and sweetest baby niece came in town from Oklahoma! It is always such a treat to see them since they live out of town! Sweet Claire is 1 month old now and has changed so much since the last time that we saw her! They got in a little late for little bit so we didn't get to stay to long Friday night but we got to spend most of Saturday with them!

Saturday morning we got up bright and early (who am I kidding we were up every 2 hours Friday night with little bit..not crying... just wanting to play) and headed to one of our favorite little boys 1st birthday party! I have been friends with his mommas since we were babies so it is really a treat to have them in our lives! Lucky for us (for now...) they live super close to us and we get to see them whenever we want! They started this crazy talk about moving into a house so we will have to squash that ASAP!

Us with the birthday boy and his sweet momma!

Since I grew up with Ashley we spent lots of time with her mom and dad as well, and of course they were at the party! Well Tony was holding Weslee and his sweet wife brought him a sugar cookie with icing! My sweet little innoncent little girl reached her little paws over and grabbed the cookie and shoved it in her mouth! She went to town!! She may or may not have sucked her way through 1/2 of that cookie! (yes I am well aware that my 5 month old should not have had a sugar cookie..but she thought it was the greatest thing ever!) We had to pry her hands off of the cookie and Tony's fingers!

Weslee Grace's new favorite person I am sure!

After we left the birthday party we swung by home and picked up daddy (who was studying..poor thing)  and headed to my parents land with the fam bam! It was a gorgeous day to head out to the counrty with nothing else around! It was the first time that my brother and his little family had seen it since they had done so much work, and of course it was sweet Claire's first time! It is always a little cooler at the land so the girls had to stay bundled most of the time. Weslee LOVES it at the land, especially because she just sits and plays in the dirt! There was also a dog out at the land this time (belongs to the man who is working on the land) so of course Weslee was mesmerized. We managed to get in a quick Christmas card photoshoot for my parents this year too, and some fun family pictures! It is so nice to have the land as a backdrop!

I could not be more blessed with these two! They are the most amazing parents around! They taught me so many things but most importantly they live their lives as such a great example for me! If I can be half as great of a parent to Weslee Grace and spouse to Will as these two have shown me I will be more than happy!

Little bit's hands hardly leave her mouths these days…unless it is to grab something else to put in her mouth!

This pictures cracks me up…we are getting the boys ready for their picture with their baby girls!

So thankful that my brother picked this sweet lady to be his wife! She brings so much joy to our family and I am so grateful to have her as a SIL and a friend! I know we are going to have a blast raising these to girlies together..or at least have a shoulder to cry/vent on!

Her happy place..her two girls and out on the land! These girls do not know it yet but their KT is the absolute best and they are so lucky to have her!

All of my people in one place…the absolute best!

We are two lucky girls to have this guy!

Please check out how the babes is being carried…she loves it!

They love each other something fierce!

I think I will keep him!

 The best uncle around!

This girl and dirt, and rocks or anything else she isn't supposed to put in her mouth!

Just a little brother and sister loving!

Cute little pom-pom head sticking out!

After 5,679 pictures we all packed back up in the expeidtion (with every single seat taken) and headed home! We ate dinner and then headed back to our home! Little bit was worn out and I needed to get her home to bed! She loved seeing her aunt and uncle but I think she was very happy to spend the day at home Sunday! She was worn out from the weekend!

Sunday my mom came over to help me take little bit's christmas card picture! My original plan was to take them out at the land but there was no room for her props, and next week we are supposed to get a huge cold front! Luckily by our apartments we have a gorgeous area with some trees and ponds! I think our Christmas card is going to be super cute! Here is a sneak peak! By the way I can not believe it is almost Christmas time again...I may or may not have already started decorating! I can't wait to spend this first Christmas as a family of three together and to start our own traditions!

My photographer assistant and my model…off task as usual!

We are worn out from the weekend but could not of asked for a better time with friends and family! Will and I talk about all the time how blessed we are with everyone, but weekends like this are a great reminder too!
