WG & I officially have taken our first road trip all by ourselves..and more importantly it was successful! Wednesday afternoon we headed north to visit my brother, SIL, & the sweetest neice in Oklahoma! It is about a 3 1/2 hour drive so I tried to plan it for when little bit would be napping...apparently only a 45 minute nap was in the cards for that day! Though she was still amazing in the car even being awake most of the time! She "read" books & ate snacks the whole way..what more could a girl want! We don't get to see our favorite Oklahomians nearly enough so it's always a treat, especially now that the girls are getting at the age where they can play together! I took a mere 800 plus photos so here is your warning for picture overload..but when your subjects are so cute, who can resist!
Weslee Grace is OBSESSED with dogs so she was in hog heaven with Lucy girl readily available for any hair pulling, tailing pulling and constant chasing she was wanting to do.
Since little bit loves her little car I decided why not take it with us & I am so glad that we did. The girls had such a fun time playing with it and Weslee Grace loved pushing Claire in it...as well as sitting on top of her.
Poor Claire was sitting in the car and all of the sudden WG just jumped in with her..it was so funny!
And then it was time for WG to get out and Claire helped her just a bit :)
The new way we like to climb into our car...not the most efficient but it does get the job done!.
I hope they are always the best of friends...I'm pretty sure they are each going to need pink mini coopers when they turn 16 too!
Our favorite Aunt Annie cooked us dinner each night..while these two rearranged a drawer together.
Obviously the occasion called for matching PJ's for these two sweet peas! Claire showing Weslee her little bible for a morning bible story ( pictures before bed the night before were a no go as you could imagine after a long day for both of them!)
Kisses all day.. every day the whole time we were there..and what is more sweet than baby kisses!!
The next day we went to a couple of baby boutiques around town and then got home just in time for lunch and an afternoon nap for the girls (while the mommas watched a little RHOC, much to my brothers dismay)! Little bit woke up a little earlier than Claire so we had our own little time together in the front yard!

After our photoshoot we went swimming in the baby pool! Our sweet Annie monogrammed the girls matching towels, got them sunglasses & matching cups! She is THE BEST!
I'm not sure she has seen a hose before so she was very curious about it and how it worked! She really liked when Uncle Cole made bubbles in the water...and let her drink out of it!

Little bit wasn't quite sure of the cold temperature of the water so she did a little sun bathing too on her new towel while Claire finished playing in the pool!
We had the best time in Oklahoma & can't wait to go back again and hopefully bring daddy along with us that time!
