1st Birthday //Watermelon Style//

We had the best time celebrating our little bit this past weekend! Well all week actually but I'm sure you didn't expect anything less! She spent the week dressed in Watermelon outfits in order to get in the right mind set for her party on Saturday! If you don't know it has been raining like crazy in Texas lately so we were really hoping for no rain on Saturday morning...so of course it was a monsoon! In my head the party was going to be outside in the backyard but we improvised and made it work 1/2 inside & 1/2 outside! Little bit had a blast and that was the most important thing! Here are a few  ton pictures! I have another camera to go through that has all the "action" shots on it so I will probably edit this post in a few more days but wanted to get this up!

Little bit's 1st Birthday Party!! I LOVED her cute but simple birthday party outfit & I know we will be wearing it all summer long!
Cake Table:

I had "The watermelon Seed" book set out so that her guests could write her a note/birthday wish! This is such a cute book that I highly recommend with or without a Watermelon party to go with it!

Cake eating highchair & party hat...which she was not interested in keeping on her head!

Food Table:

Drink station: (not pictured the actual drinks..oops!)

Wreath on the front door:

Party Favors:

Year information chalkboard & favorite pictures of little bit for some decoration!

My favorite Watermelon people!!

We had wooden watermelon stakes in the front yard that I made but forgot to take a good picture of them so here the hubs is setting them up...in the rain!

After part view of the Watermelon stakes & little bit cruisin' in her new ride! More on this little car later... she we are obsessed!

Probably my favorite part of the party..her Watermelon Piñata! The husband thinks that this should be our tradition..that I make a piñata for every birthday party that she has....we will see! :) It was a little sad to watch the kids bust it open!

Ready for her cake!!

Happy Birthday Weslee Grace!!!

I forgot to take a picture of her in her watermelon bloomers before the cake so we were trying to get a picture after

...on a sugar rush...the best we could get was this!

Getting "how to eat her cake" pointers from her big cousin, Ari!

We had a few games set up for the kids to play in the backyard & one of them was this, Watermelon Toss game...turned Photo Booth!

These three are the sweetest little friends...and happen to be in age order too!

Watermelon bowling with one of her favorites...side note if you choose to do this buy extra "bowling balls" :)

Sweet India :)

We had a blast celebrating this precious girl and can't believe we have had the honor of being her parents for a whole year already! Can't wait to see what the next year holds!

Our favorite little cousin was able to come to her party too so we had a mini photoshoot after the party!! Love these girls!

I hope these two are always the best of friends even if they don't live close to each other!

Someone was not quite sure about sharing her KT & Capt'! It was too funny!

Hopefully these two girls both learn to play the piano like their Uncle/daddy! He is the best!!

Thanks for stopping by & hope you have a great Tuesday!!
