We had the best week last week filled with play dates, being outside, ice cream dates, trying to learn to walk, and our first dip in the pool!
Weslee Grace and I are so lucky to have some great friends in our life..I especially love their mommas! I never dreamed that I would enjoy the apartment living but I truly love that I can walk over to the main area of our apartment complex and run into at least a few of our friends and their babies! It doesn't hurt that their are ducks, turtles, fish, squirrels and birds galore for WG to chase down!
Just a little baby racing...these babes have been friends since they were itty bitty!
This little girl is smitten by the cute Baker brothers ( and I am so thankful I have gotten to "do life" with their momma my whole life) , she is always staring and watching them!
Saving this one for a rehearsal dinner slideshow one day ;)
Little bit also celebrated her first Cinco De Mayo..and in true Weslee fashion we dressed the part! It was a gorgeous day outside so that is where we spent it!
..the nose scrunch continues..
Little bit is SO close to walking but she is so darn stubborn! Their is no making this girl do anything she doesn't want to do..but you better bet this momma has been trying! I am also fully aware that as soon as she starts walking I will promptly want her to stop! Story. Of. My. Life. In order to try and coax her into walking my mom suggested I hold a broom because that would help her learn she can walk without me. I was supposed to hold one end and her the other. You see...she walks ALL day long holding on to my pinky finger, that does absolutely nothing, so we think she is just uncomfortable with me being away...so we tired the broom. Fail...and I'm pretty sure our neighbors are concerned about my mental health now after watching us all afternoon :)
When we finally decided to give up on the broom walking trick we headed out for round two with some of our favorite boys and the great outdoors!
I hope these three are always the best little friends!
The best little buddies...Weslee Grace is one lucky girl, even though we are not exactly showing it in the picture!
Still thinking about walking...I thought maybe the warm tennis courts would give her some encouragement...Nope!
So we headed for our first dip in the pool...now the pool she LOVES!
Their is the best (so we had heard) popsicle place by us called Steel City Pops that we have been dying to try so we decided that a rainy forecast made for the perfect day to do just that! We can now confirm that we will be their every day this summer!
This little series of pictures kills me! Kyle wasn't so sure about eating his popsicle so WG was right there to help him out!
I didn't get but one pictures but on Thursday we headed to meet Grandma for some lunch and shopping! This girl obviously thought she was looking mighty cute for our date with Grandma!
Friday we got to keep our favorite dog, Angus, and practiced saying "woof woof" all day long!
This week is beginning to look just like last week with lots of playing outside with good friends! I brought my good camera along this time so of course I took 1,785 photos...here are just a
few ton!
The Three Musakateers!
Don't even think about asking to have that dump truck from her! And can we talk about those pig tails tonight!!
"Patty Cake Patty Cake...Roll it up, roll it up and Throw it in the pan!"
A new use for our cart...push our friends!
I love these two more than I ever knew it was possible.
