Lots of friends

Over the last couple weeks we have had so much fun hanging out with some of our good friends. Not too many of my friends have babies/toddlers but a few do! I grew up with most of my friends that live close to us so it is fun now that we have babies that get to grow up together! Last week we met the Bakers at the park for a little fun! I was already out on a run with Weslee when Ashley texted so ignore my look! This was also the first time that Weslee sat on the grass, she was a huge fan!

I think sweet Kyle and Weslee Grace would make just the perfect pair ;)

We also had our first visit to the pool with Ashley, Kaleb, and Kyle this week! It was a great trial run since we started our Baby Bathtime class this week too! Weslee loves bath time so I figured the pool would be a hit! She really did like it …for about 10 minutes..and then the warm sun just made her pass out, and we slept the rest of our time at our play date! 

Here we are right before our first Bathtime Baby class! We went to this class with our sweet friend Adalyn, her mommy is a friend of mine that I met through teaching! She taught at my mom's school and we are so lucky they invited us to join their class with them! We will have to get a picture of both the girls next week!

During our class we did lots of singing, we kicked our legs, we laid on a floating piece of foam for some tummy time..just like we were surfing! We even practiced jumping to me and we went down the slide! We are so excited to already be loving the water!

After our bath time class we met Ashley and her boys, Kathleen and India at Kylde Warren park for some chatting and splash pad time! Weslee was so pooped from her morning of swimming that she just snoozed the whole time! It was so fun to get to chat with Ashley and Kathleen and watch their babies play!

Also just for documenting sakes..this past Saturday we had the privilege of eating lunch with Weslee's Grandpa Dennis (will's dad)! We don't get to see him very often and he hadn't seen Weslee since the hospital so it was such a treat! We went to our favorite local breakfast place, Oasis! He held her the whole time and she loved every moment! Breakfast in your pajamas..only a baby can do ;) 

Weslee and I are headed to Oklahoma tomorrow to see my brother and sister-in-law, and baby Claire!! Stay tuned for how our first road trip goes! We are sure gonna miss that Daddy of ours though!
